Preliminary scratch sheets will be available to view in July once we have the majority of registrations processed. Please contact the race committee prior to race day with any class and rating concerns.
There is NO camping at Wooden Boat. Ocean Front Camping at Reach Knolls is a good alternative.

The ERR is a rain-or-shine event. It is the skipper’s responsibility to decide if he/she/they and their crew/boat are adequate to the weather. There will be no refunds given due to inclement weather.
Cancellations will be accepted and refunds given for registration, meals, and merchandise until 14 days prior to the event. Less than 14 days prior to the event, no refunds will be given for meals or merchandise. Requests for registration refunds less than 14 days prior to the event will be reviewed by the Race Committee.

After the captain’s meeting the morning of the event there is an opportunity for Captain’s and crew to meet and arrange sailing opportunities.

You can obtain your CRF Rating Certificate via the Classic Yacht Owners Association website.

Yes, each participating boat must have a current CRF Certificate (unless sailing in the IOD Fleet, see below). CRF certificates are only valid for one season and must be renewed yearly.

The IOD fleet must have one current CRF Certificate renewed yearly for the entire fleet. The single IOD CRF will be applied to all participants in this class.

All merchandise and meal tickets are handed out at the captain’s meeting prior to the race start. Any merchandise not picked up at the event can be shipped for an additional fee.

Online registration closes on the Tuesday before the event at 3pm. Any registration questions, meal tickets or merchandise orders made after the cutoff will require a phone call to Rockport Marine to be processed.

On the water Spectators: Spectating from the water is only available by private boat. There are no official spectator boats available for hire for the event. All spectator boats must stay clear of the start line and minimize their wake and speed while navigating the racecourse. There are typically 100 vessels or more on the reach the day of the event and the safety of all participants, vessels, wildlife, local traffic, and personal property are paramount.
Land based Spectators: There is no designated land-based spectator observation area. There are very few places one can see the reach with any meaningful view of the racecourse.

The skipper’s meeting is held at the pole barn located on the WoodenBoat campus. The meeting begins at 9:00am. Merchandise, meal tickets, and race packets should be picked up prior to the start of the meeting. Immediately following the skipper’s meeting, captains, and crew head out to the course.
